• 2024 Thanks to participation in the INTERREG Estonia-Latvia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027 project “Garden Pearls for All” (No. EE-LV00038), a 100 m long section of park paths has been renovated and strengthened, improving the accessibility of the garden for people in wheelchairs and mobility with assistive devices, strollers and scooters.

  • 2023 The recreation area has been renovated: new covering with protective grass cells has been laid, benches, tables and waste bins have been purchased. (LEADER project: Creation of a recreation area accessible to all at the LU Rhododendron Breeding and Testing Nursery "Babīte" No. 23-04-AL04-A019.2205-00001, in cooperation with the organization “Pieriga partnership”).

  • 2018 As a result of the implementation of the Interreg project "Diversification of the Garden Tourism Offer in Estonia and Latvia" under the Interregional Cooperation Program, seven information stands have been installed in the territory of the nursery.
