To reduce the long queues that form during peak rhododendron bloom, for the first time we are offering the chance to purchase electronic tickets in advance in collaboration with Biļešu Paradīze.

The best way to explore unique collection of our outdoor rhododendrons is to walk along the 1.5km-long paved road through the nursery. A typical visit might last 1–1.5 hours. Most rhododendrons bloom in late May and early June, but some species and varieties bloom as early as April. Many plants have reached a height of 4–5m in the last 40 years. Every year the plants are sold in spring and autumn when you can buy rhododendrons cultivated in the nursery.

Opening hours: in May and June the nursery is open every day from 9:00 to 21:00.

Free visit (with ID):

For preschool children, students and employees of the University of Latvia, people with disabilities (group I) and their assistant, people with disabilities (group II), victims of political repression by Soviet Union, Ukrainian citizens.

When visiting a rhododendron nursery, leave the dog at home!
